Liat Shalom is a Toronto-based Art Director and visual communicator specializing in motion graphics, graphic design, illustration, and film production. With a degree in illustration and animation from OCAD University and a foundation in New Media arts and printmaking, her artistic journey bridges traditional and digital mediums.
Starting as a lead web designer for organizations like RBC and PSHSA, Liat transitioned into the film industry, joining the Directors Guild of Canada six years ago. Her work in the Art Department has shaped TV and film productions, including American Gods and Clarice, through assistant art direction, motion graphics, and design.
Driven by a passion for breaking conventions and sparking wonder, Liat combines innovation and storytelling to create visually captivating projects. Her multidisciplinary expertise makes her a sought-after collaborator for inspiring and boundary-pushing creative ventures.
