Liat Shalom is an accomplished Art Director and visual communicator based in Toronto, known for her expertise in motion graphics, graphic design, illustration, and film production. With a degree in illustration and animation from the prestigious OCAD University, Liat’s artistic journey began with a strong foundation in New Media arts at Metropolitan (Ryerson) University and printmaking at Dawson College in Montreal.

Having started her career in the corporate world, Liat honed her skills as a lead web designer for renowned organizations such as RBC and PSHSA. However, her passion for the film industry soon beckoned her, leading her to explore new avenues of creative expression.

For the past six years, Liat has been an esteemed member of the Directors Guild of Canada, where she has made her mark in the Art Department. Her contributions have graced a diverse range of TV and film productions, including notable works like “American Gods” and “Clarice.” Within the realm of assistant art direction, design, and motion graphics, Liat’s work has left an indelible impact on the visual storytelling of these projects.
